Sport equipment and gear, including football shoes, training suits and competition jerseys, worth over three million yuan, were donated to the second middle school and the fourth primary school of Zhijin county and other township-level schools.

The students of the fourth primary school who got the new equipment poured in the playground when the school bell for a football class rang in the morning on June 28, 2018.

The members of the school football team gathered swiftly in tidy jersey, standing in upright posture and full of energy.

Excited and itch to try, soon the young players started their drills led by the teacher.

The young generation will shape the future for our country and China's strength relies on well-equipped youths. Heads of the school said they would make best use of these equipment to cultivate talents excelled in morality, intelligence and physique.

To boost the football development in the rural and mountainous areas, the CFA, besides donating football equipment, also actively shoulders the responsibility to cultivate coaches for the west, remote and football underdeveloped regions, and establishes an information sharing and remote-instructing working mechanism.

President Xi Jinping pointed out in the report to 19th CPC National Congress that the fitness-for-all campaign needs to be carried out extensively and we need to expedite our work to achieve the goal of building a sport powerhouse and a healthy China.

For a long time, the CFA has been committed in public-interest affairs, and seen that our people's well-being is improved and China's football keeps progressing.

The implementation of poverty reduction to act on the call of General Administration of Sport of China is one of the priorities of the CFA, and is to reflect the guideline of putting people first when carrying out our sport and football work.

The CFA is a close partner of Zhijin county to eradicate poverty. The two sides will make joint efforts to relive poverty, build a moderately prosperous society, and realize modernization in all respects.
